The avenue
parkway
Yesterday
I saw you
coming my way
Walking
The avenue as
it was a cat walk
Smiling
Laughing
And
Taking in
The many sweet
fragrances
Coming your way
The wind
stopped
To let you walk
the avenue
As you were
passing
I notice purple
wings
Peeking
Through your
pink lace princess dress
And a smiling
hello kitty doll
On your right
hand
Holding a daisy
I then heard
you whisper
Telling me and
the world
That
You are three now
And going to
dance class
Because
You got your
wings
